I am originally from South Australia and after completing my education, I commenced studying a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Adelaide and completed this degree with Honours at the end of 2013.
Subsequent to completing my degree, I undertook a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Australian National University and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory on 20 February 2015.
I commenced my legal career in a small boutique firm in Adelaide and it was in this role that my passion for Family Law commenced. I relocated to the Gold Coast in September 2015 and have been working exclusively in Family Law since that time.. I appear regularly in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia as well as in the specialist Domestic Violence Court in Southport. I have experience in participating in Court appointed mediation processes as well as private mediation and dispute resolution processes.
During my time practicing in Family Law I have worked closely with Accredited Specialist’s in Family Law and in doing so, developed an excellent knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Family Law from complex parenting disputes and property settlement matters, to drafting and advising upon Binding Financial Agreements to be entered before, during or after a relationship. I am driven to resolve matters on a timely and cost effective manner utilising alternate dispute resolution processes including negotiation and mediation at an early stage in proceedings.
