John Christian is an Associate at Marino Law in its litigation division.
John graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Business majoring in management and was subsequently admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, followed by admission to the high Court of Australia that same year.
Having practiced at a number of well regarded firms in Brisbane, John has developed strong skills and experience in commercial and contractual disputes, building and construction litigation, property disputes, estate litigation, body corporate and community management disputes and varied complex personal and corporate insolvency matters.
John has a particular interest in construction litigation and has experience on both front-end and back-end construction matters, including advising on construction contracts and accompanying documents, contract disputes, security of payment claims, arbitration and adjudications.
John provides practical and straightforward advice to his clients with a view to achieving a commercial outcome regardless of the complexity of the matter. John recognises the importance of client involvement throughout the matter by ensuring his client’s objectives are recognised and advanced at every stage of the matter.
