The Opportunity

You will be part of a high performing and highly regarded family law team working towards collective success.  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Confidently and efficiently managing a varied workload of interesting and complex family law matters with little or no supervision;
  • Assisting senior family lawyers in larger and more complex matters;
  • Drafting court documents, agreements, advices and correspondence;
  • Appearing at court, mediations and settlement conferences; and
  • Maintaining a professional presentation at all times.

About You

To be successful in this position we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven lawyer with:

  • A minimum of 3 years post-admission experience in all aspects of family law matters including complex property, children and parenting matters and divorce;
  • The ability to work autonomously (with supervision where necessary) to a high level and manage client requirements and expectations;
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills, advocacy and attention to detail;
  • Commercial acumen with an understanding of business;
  • The ability to liaise and communicate competently with clients and all parties;
  • A positive attitude, be a team player and a genuine interest in professional development; and
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Property & Commercial Lawyer (4+ years PQE) 

The Opportunity  

You will be part of a high performing and highly regarded property & commercial team working towards collective success.  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Confidently and efficiently managing a varied workload of different types of commercial and property law matters from start to finish;
  • Commercial, industrial and retail shop leasing for landlords and tenants;
  • Conveyancing – business acquisitions and sales, commercial and residential property transactions;
  • Highrise and townhouse community scheme developments and land subdivisions;
  • Property joint venture arrangements;
  • Body corporate advisory;
  • Legal research and drafting of legal advice for clients;
  • Preparation of necessary documents;
  • Develop existing client relationships;
  • Prospect new clientele; and
  • Maintaining a professional presentation at all times.

About you

To be successful in this position we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven lawyer with: 

  • Minimum of 4 years post-admission experience in all aspects of property and commercial law; being well versed in the technical and practical aspects of:

– retail and commercial leasing;

– commercial and residential property developments;

– the local planning scheme and law;

– body corporate advisory;

– joint venture and other property arrangements;

– property and business conveyancing;

– business structuring, asset protection and advisory;

– drafting of and advisory on commercial agreements including joint venture agreements, options, partnership / shareholder agreements, commercial

  contracts, supply and distribution agreement, loan agreements and various deeds; and

– experience using PEXA.

  • The ability to work autonomously (with supervision where necessary) to a high level and manage client requirements and expectations;
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills, advocacy and attention to detail;
  • Commercial acumen with an understanding of business;
